Established in 1968, Hart Trailer LLC remains privately owned and operated by the Hart family. Over the years Hart has maintained a reputation for manufacturing quality trailers while becoming friends with our customers. The design features Hart incorporates in its trailer today have been continuously developed for more than 50 years in close cooperation with our customers and dealers. Because Hart aspires for excellence in trailer manufacturing and service, we have been able to inspire confidence in our customers that they have made the right choice n purchasing a Hart Trailer.

Quality not quantity has always been the company's focus. Hart has never had the desire to be the biggest trailer manufacturer, only the best. Listening to our customers we find that they demand the finest that is available. They recognize the true value of quality and for them, there is not substitute. Our customers also know that while each trailer is custom designed to fit their individual needs, it carries the price tag of a mass produced unit. Few will own one, but hundreds will want one.

Meet the founders of Hart Trailer! Anthony and Kay Hart started Hart Trailer in 1968 with a vision of manufacturing the best horse trailers in the industry. After forty-eight years and a multitude of industry changes, their success has truly made a mark on the horse trailer business and custom manufacturing. There's no question that they accomplished their original goal. The trailers Hart Trailer LLC manufactures today are an example of what hard work and vision can evolve into and the tradition that can be carried on for generations in the Hart family.

A throwback to the original set up during the early days. Things have changed but our values have remained the same. Values that have been passed from one generation to the next. Values that we are still proud of today.

I started working at Hart Trailers at the age of ten. I drove my father crazy until he eventually handed me a broom one day and said "Go to work." Forty-three years ago I went to work and I've never looked back. There is not a day that goes by that I am not thankful for what I get to do. I love my job and I feel very blessed to be a part of such a great company. A company with a deep history. I am proud of the trailers that we build here at Hart and the relationships that we have formed over the decades with so many individual customers.

This is not just a job to me. It is who I am and what I've spent my lifetime investing in. My parents started this company in 1968 and they have spent their entire lives building it into the company that it is today. I feel extraordinarily blessed to be able to carry on what they started so many years ago.

SOLUTION MODEL

The SOLUTION model by HART is a trailer designed with a solution in mind. The SOLUTION models are full of user-friendly features that make it an extremely popular choice for our customers who need to be able to pull a trailer with a smaller truck and shorter beds. Unlike other companies, HART does not sacrifice any structural components or features for this weight conscious model. With width as an exception, the SOLUTION models are based on the same structural design and feature platform as the TRADITION models. All SOLUTION models are built 6'8" wide, which eliminates the disrupting interior fender well. The result is an amazingly clean, smooth appearance with an incredible function. SOLUTION models are available in 2, 3, and 4 horse slant goosenecks. The SOLUTION models are also available in 2 and 3 horse bumper pull configurations. SOLUTION models are available with trim and sidewall options, only being limited on width and length changes. Check out the V-NOSE design and imagine pulling one of these with a half-ton truck! Unlike other companies, HART does not sacrifice any structural components or features for this price conscious model. With width as an exception, the MVP models are based on the same structural design and feature platform as the TRADITION models. All MVP models are built 6'8" wide, which eliminates the disrutping interior fender well. The result is an amazingly clean, smooth apprearance at an incredible value. MVP models are available in 2, 3, and 4 horse slant goosenecks. The MVP models are also available in 2 and 3 horse bumper pull configurations. MVP models are the only trailers manufactured by HART that do not allow structural changes although a limited amount of trim and sidewall options are available. The TRADITION series of trailers are a result of that idea and commitment!

If absolute customization is your goal, the TRADITION is the perfect choice for you. The features and options on this model are only limited to your imagination, without compromising structure. The TRADITION series offers the option to change height, length, and width and are available with hundreds of user friendly features. It truly is the most custom horse trailer on the market. STRAIGHT LOAD MODELS

The STRAIGHT LOAD Models offered by Hart present a variety of designs, each for a particular use. Hart offers three different models of 2 horse STRAIGHT LOAD trailers. The 'Thoroughbred' and the 'Walk-Thru' models are designed for large bodied horses. Both of these models are 6'8" wide, 7'7" tall and have 11' long stalls. Each model is available in bumper pull and gooseneck configurations.

The 'Thoroughbred' model is equipped with double rear doors, a full width ramp behind the doors, a removable stall divider and full height escape door on each side of the stall area.

The 'Walk-Thru' model is equipped with double rear doors, removable stall divider, a manger and a fold down feed door on each stall and a full height walk through door into the dressing room.

The third 2 Horse STRAIGHT LOAD model is a bumper pull trailer equipped with mangers in front of both stalls with tack storage underneath.

The fourth STRAIGHT LOAD model that we build is a 2+1 model. This trailer is a great option for anyone with larger breed horses who need a little more room and also wants the flexibility of the additional box space up front.

STOCK MODELS

The most versatile trailer that Hart offers is the LARIAT model. The LARIAT is a gooseneck trailer with a 4' long tack & dressing room up front with a stock-type stall area. The stall area is equipped with rubber floor mats, kick mat on all walls, center gate, full width rear gate, tie loops, escape door and Plexiglas track. The tack & dressing room includes a 32" wide door, rubber floor mat, carpeted gooseneck floor and wall, removable saddle racks and bridle hooks. Whether you are hauling horses, cattle, sheep or furniture the LARIAT model can handle the job. the LARIAT models are available in standard lengths of 20', 22' and 24' or you can have one custom built to fit YOUR needs.

The SHORT-GO model is a single axle 14' long gooseneck. The SHORT-GO is perfect for trips to the vet, moving stock from one pasture to the next and day trips to nearby events. The stall area is equipped with rubber lined kick walls which will accomodate horses, cattle or anything else you may need to haul. The SHORT-GO has a user friendly dressing room with a 2'6" short wall and a 5' long wall. The dressing room is equipped with bridle hooks and a standard 4 tier/2 blanket bar saddle rack.

MINIATURE MODEL

The MINIATURE models by Hart are trailers built specifically for the smallest of breeds. The MINIATURE models are full of user-friendly features that make this an extremely popular choice for horse transportation all over the country. Being known for trailers in the miniature horse market, Hart does not sacrifice quality or construction on this model. All MINIATURE models are built 6'8" wide which eliminates the disrupting interior fender well. The result is an amazingly clean and smooth appearance at an incredible value. MINIATURE models are available in 4 and 6 horse configurations. MINIATURE models can be custom designed to suit your specific needs.

LoProXpo Series

Established in 1968, Hart Trailers has been a leader in the trailer industry for fifty years now. Family owned, the Hart family has continued to pursue their original vision of providing their customers with the very best trailers on the road.

Some features included in the LoProXpo Series are:

*Interlocking, tongue and groove floor with integrated I-beam cross members on 6" centers. At .140" thick, this is the strongest floor in the industry.

*Insulated, 1/2" thick fiberglass composite roof panel, the ultimate in climate control, quietness and strength.

*Heavy duty door hinges, 1'4" thick wall aluminum extrusion stock with 1/2" stainless steel hinge pins with stainless steel washers between upper and lower half of the hinge, quality unmatched in the industry.

*Heavy duty full rear frame, full rear top header and side gussets. The strongest rear frame section of any trailer in the industry.

*'Smart' Pen System with Hart's exclusive slam latch and convertible 50/50 to 60/40 pens.

*Floating gate with Hart's 'Smart' Glide System which allows you to easily change compartment sizes to accommodate your needs.

Let's talk Tack Rooms! They've been in the rear of the trailer, they've been in the front of the trailer and they've even been in the middle of the trailer. There are so many ways to accomplish tack space and it's all about function and convenience to the individual. Combining all of the great features of the aforementioned tack areas, we have brought you the most practical and highly functional tack ever! Welcome, the Smart Tack!

Imagine if you could access all of your tack from the side of your trailer without ever having to climb into the trailer. That's what you can do with a Hart Smart Tack! Rather than stacking the saddles on an upright saddle tree we have them placed so that anyone can reach them from the ground....even the smallest cowgirl or cowboy! Saddles, blankets and pads...bridles, halters and boots..all at an arms reach from the ground. It's easily organized to fit your individual preference regardless of what tack you haul with you. Make it your very own!

On the opposite side of the tack room we have an equally organized dressing room. This is not ordinary dressing room however. It comes complete with a footlocker, tons of hooks, clothes bar and an 18" x 8' tray. With your Smart Tack the opportunities are endless! The Smart Tack can be incorporated into any of our Tradition Series trailers....from a two horse to an eight horse.

In 2014, Hart Trailers revolutionized the way that tack is hauled and stored in horse trailers by designing The Original Smart Tack trailer. It has since become our best selling model, and is one of the most coveted designs in the trailer industry. For some, The Smart Tack was a great design, but perhaps just a little more than they needed. So, we have since designed the Smart Tack II. The Smart Tack II has many of the same amazing features of the Original Smart Tack, but in a smaller package.

The Smart Tack II has a single 48" door, with a 6 pole swivel blanket tree, two easily accessible saddle racks, 18 bridle hooks, bell boot hooks, and is completely lined w/ .063 aluminum and carpeted.

As with our original design, you never have to step up into the trailer to load any tack. It can all be done from the ground, with much more ease than having to step up into the trailer. All of it is just in arm's reach! This is a great and useful design for anyone who has struggled to load and unload tack through narrow doors and tall saddle racks through the years. The Smart Tack II will be the answer to your prayers!
